~Something Most People Don't Know~
I just wanted to talk a little bit about something that most people don't know about me. It's hard to explain because most people have never heard of it. Basically, I've had a pretty big problem since around 6th grade and it's called Interstitial Cystitis. You can learn about it here http://www.ichelp.org/page.aspx?pid=327. It's a really painful problem that occurs usually 3 or more days out of the week. It is triggered by stress, exercise, diet, anxiety, standing for long periods, or even sitting on a hard chair for a long time. (I always have to sit in booths at restaurants. It makes it really hard for me to work because it is triggered by stress and standing for long periods of time. So, for those who think I'm lazy, you're wrong. I never had an accurate diagnosis until about a year ago when my Mom found out about interstitial Cystitus. During Middle school, I went to the doctor for it about once a month. The doctor just always tested me for UTIs. And when those came back negative, the Doctor told my Mom that she thought I was just faking. I had dye injected into my kidneys to make sure they were ok, they were. After all of those disappointing doctor's visits, I pretty much gave up ever finding what was wrong with me, even though it effected me almost everyday at school. I have bad anxiety too, so school was a nightmare for me. I was often in a lot of pain and would just go to the bathroom and cry. I would explain the way it feels in more depth, but I don't feel comfortable talking about the areas where it hurts me. Anyway, I don't want to feel like I'm whining. I am thankful to be completely healthy in other ways. I know others have it way worse than I do. I just wanted to let the people who read my blog know. Even most of the people close to me do not know. Thanks everyone, love you all.
~It's Been Awhile~
I haven't really had time to update lately but last weekend on Saturday, Dustin and I went to dinner with our friends Rusty and Judith. It was her birthday and we got her a pretty turqoise bracelet. We ate in Broken Arrow at a place called Dooley's Angus Inn. It was pretty fancy, candlelight dinner, and they had the best steak I think I've ever had. I really recommend it. Afterwards, we went to their house and hung out with them until 3 in the morning or so. We had a really good time, it's nice to both be friends with a couple so we can hang out and have similar interests. The next day, we got up and went fishing at Oologah Dam. I caught a white bass but that's it. It was busy and the water was running pretty good, but we still had fun. Today, we slept late because Dustin is trying to get his back to feel better (pulled muscle) and then we went to Mexico Lindo, my favorite place to eat in Owasso. We're about to go to WalMart to get some things that we need, plus I'm going to buy some ingredients to try some recipes on Pinterest. Things are still going really well :) We're moving soon because it was only 75 outside today and it was around 90 in our room which makes it really hard to sleep. Plus, what would it be like if it were 90 outside? Goodness, I'm definitely excited to move!

~A Lovely Saturday~
We woke up super early, I'm talking 3 a.m. early, because we went to bed so early. How many times do I need to say early?! ;) Our hours are really messed up now and will be hard for Dustin on Monday. We relaxed and spent time together until the sun came up. Around 8, we decided we wanted to go eat somewhere. We didn't get ready until a little bit after that because the places we wanted to go weren't open until 10:30 or so. Around 10:30, we ended up going to Mexico Lindo. They had just opened and we were the first ones there. I really love that place because they have the BEST shrimp and it's not expensive shrimp, either. Also, regardless of some of them not speaking English very well, it is really good service. They are always nice and great at refilling drinks, exc. We were both really hungry because we hadn't eaten for like ten or so hours, so we kind of pigged out. I had been doing well on my diet until that morning. I feel the weight coming off already though. Anyway, back on topic, we got queso, Dustin got buffalo wings, and I got a Shrimp burrito, like always. I never get tired of it, it is just so delicious. Dustin also said that their buffalo wings are 'like Heaven' and for someone who rarely show that much enthusiasm over anything, I'd say they must have been pretty good! Haha. I think that's got to be one of my top 3 places to eat in Owasso, I recommend anyone reading this to try it and I recommend their shrimp and their steak. After eating, we went home because some of Dustin's family was coming over. We played out by the pond for awhile with the dogs. We took the puppy out there to play. He played with the backyard awhile and he had so much fun. He's such a cute little guy. Anytime his leash gets tangled on him whatsoever, he just falls over and rolls. It's really cute to see. He has a great personality, but we have yet to name him. Dustin likes the name storm, and I don't really have any ideas in particular, besides that he needs a powerful name. After playing in the backyard, we took them out by the pond and they all got in the water, including the puppy. He just stood there in the water awhile, soaking up the coolness of the water on his thick coat. I think he would have stood in it all day if we had let him. He played fetch with Gunner and Harley for awhile. Harley got frustrated though because we kept throwing out into the water for seasoned pro, Gunner, to get it. He just doesn't have a chance with his short, stubby legs. Poor little guy, he has the little man complex :) He likes to take advantage of Gunner's good nature by stealing the stick from him and running away from him. When Gunner chases after him, he twists and turns, like a little runningback. We stayed outside for about an hour until we decided to head to the store to pick up some water and chicken liver, to fish with. At the store, we picked up some Girl Scout cookies, water, powerade, and chicken liver. Once we got home, the company was there. We visited for a little while before heading outside to fish with Sheldon. We weren't having any luck and Sheldon got bored, so he kept trying to cast the pole as far as he could. It was funny to watch, because he was trying so hard, with success. He threw it onto the grass on the other side of the pond a couple of times. Dustin and I kept cracking up because he would jump, skip, and throw his arms as high into the air as he could while trying to cast. He and Dustin have a playful nature, they like to push each other's buttons, so there was a lot of playful banter. After a couple of hours, we decided to give up on catching anything. We think the water was too cold. We did meet a neighbor and her little girl, who were very nice and talkative. I love meeting new people. We went inside and decided to take Sheldon to Academy because we wanted to buy some shirts. Dustin found some duck hunting t-shirts and an underarmour shirt. I made him get the pretty blue one because I think it will look good on his eyes, I can't wait to see him in it. I think he is just the most handsome guy ever, but I'm partial. :) I got a pair of shorts and a pink duck hunting shirt. I could have gotten more, but I would rather buy more formal clothes and Academy has mostly sports clothes. It was getting late and we knew we better get Sheldon back to his parents because they have a two hour drive home, so we headed home. They had some Church's chicken and then left to go home. We went to bed not much later, we were really tired from getting up so early the night before. We slept really well and woke up to each other and cuddled for awhile while listening to the rain. I couldn't have imagined a better morning. I bought some panties on Victoria's Secret.com. I can't wait to get them, I really need them since Harley managed to chew up a lot of my underwear. I still love him regardless! :)

~A Great Start to the Weekend~
Well, things have been so good lately that I'm afraid that something bad is about to happen. I can't help it, I've just always been kind of reserved about getting excited about things. I'm a positive person in general, but I still have my doubts. Not about my relationship or anything like that, but just other things that aren't the best for me. My life right now is amazing though. I had an incredible weekend. Others might not find it worthy of being deemed incredible, but I find happiness in the smaller things. To start the weekend off, We went to Walmart on Friday morning to get me an outfit to wear to my appointment. Since I can't wear jeans at the moment, I have to wear something that's easier to get off and on, because I can only use my left hand. I ended up getting a cute pair of black yoga pants with pink leopard print at the top, a pink tank top, an orange shirt, and an Ahh bra. The Ahh bra is ok, but it's definitely not as good as they say in the infomercials (but what ever is?) I think it might be better on smaller chested women. What they do have going for them is that they are more comfortable than sports bras, they help cover up any bulging, and unlike sports bras, they don't give you the dreaded 'uniboob'. They have both the Ahh Bra and the Genie Bra at Walmart for twenty dollars. I recommend purchasing the Genie Bra instead because the reviews say the Genie Bra is slightly better, and for the same price, you get two instead of one. I wish I had read the reviews first, but regardless, I am happy I bought one. Anyway, I will stop talking about boobs now! Kind of off topic, but I am the type of person who always wants to look my best. I don't like to go outside of the house without being dressed nicely, with my hair looking nice, and makeup. That's just how I am, I wish I wasn't like that sometimes, but it just makes me feel more comfortable. With my arm the way it is, I have to dress kind of down, so I was feeling a little gross, even though I had on new clothes and everything. I kept looking in the mirror dreading going out in public like that (ridiculous, I know!). But, when I opened the car mirror to check out my makeup, before I could get it open, Dustin said 'Baby you look beautiful". I'm not writing this to brag or anything like that, I just wanted to acknowledge how much effect it had on me and the way I felt, he calmed my nerves with just that little sentence. It just makes me happy to know how much he helps me with my anxiety and confidence problems. After Walmart, we had to go to my doctor's appointment. I was sitting there waiting to get a cast put on my arm for 4-6 weeks and my best hope was that I would only have to have it on for 4 weeks. Anyone who knows me knows how annoying that would be for me because I need both hands to do the things I love, wish is fishing and generally being outside. Luckily, my doctor came in after looking at my rays, felt around my arm, and then told me that he doesn't think it is actually broken! :) He said I damaged it and it needs to heel, and that I need to move it around and utilize it, which is very happy news for me. My arm still hurts to move in certain ways but I definitely notice improvement. After the Doctor, we visited Dustin's Mom for awhile and played with the puppy, then we decided to go to Academy to look around. At Academy, I got two pairs of Soffee shorts. One pair is black and the other hot pink, both with zebra stripes on the side. I really like them, they fit great. Dustin got a great deal on a new Pfleuger bait-caster reel. It was 130 and still is at other places, and he got it for 70. He also got a new rod, it's Max 4 camo. He really likes the combination. We also got some more fishing stuff (Dustin never thinks he has enough!) at least they're not expensive! After Academy, we went home and fished at the pond. We didn't catch anything, but Dustin was happy to try out his new rod and reel. It looks great and casts really well. The dogs also enjoyed playing outside. Gunner swam as usual. You know, maybe that's why we haven't been catching any fish. If a 130 pound dog jumped near me and I was a tiny fish, I think I would hide out for awhile too! Haha. After fishing, we went to Tavin's Grill in Owasso. We love that place, their Shrimp fried rice is so good and Dustin loves their ribs. We went to bed early that night, it was a good day. :) Oh, just have to say, I know a lot of the pictures I put up are of my dogs, but I just love them and they are a great part of my life :) Also, I feel like a tool when I take pictures of myself so that's why I don't have many up of me.

~Sick Day~
Dustin woke up not feeling well today, so he stayed home. We rested all day and he's feeling a little bit better. Last night was a good night, when he got home from work, we layed in bed and cuddled and laughed :) I love having that kind of relationship, he's so funny. I just feel so lucky. We're going to our usual early Friday morning WalMart trip to get some things we need and then we're going to my doctor's appointment to get my cast. My arm is still really swolen so hopefully we still get it put on. After that, we might try a barbecue place that we've been wanting to try and then go to the bank for a car loan. Wish us luck!

Obsessed with Nail Polish like I Am?
http://www.scrangie.com I recently found this site that I'm kind of obsessed with. Warning- it will make you want to buy loads of nail polish! I love fixing myself up and trying new nail, makeup, and style ideas. And there are plenty of sites about all, but this site shows what each new nail color actually looks like on the nail and is a good way to make a list of all the colors you want. I figured some of my girl friends might appreciate this site as well! My favorites are OPI nail polishes and Kat Von D.
~My Final Choice~
I've definitely decided on a dress for my brother's wedding next month! I can't imagine finding anything that I think is anymore gorgeous than this dress. I love lace, I love the color, and I love the way it has a lot of coverage up top. It's just perfect for me. I think I'm going to pair it with gold accessories and wear my hair down, unless it's really warm outside.
A Good and Bad Weekend
This is going to be kind of a long post. I don't even know where to start!
We slept in on Saturday and had a lazy day. Dustin asked me if I wanted to go somewhere that night and I just felt like relaxing at home, so we did. I know he wanted to too, he was just asking to be nice, or I would've went out if he wanted to. Then later that night, we decided to go to WalMart to stock up on some fishing stuff for our fishing trip the next day. On my way out the door, I knew Dustin had just walked outside and I couldn't see him, so I figured he was trying to scare me. He is ornery and plays with me like that alot, so I said 'you're not going to scare me' lol and I kept walking, eventually seeing him beside his car. As I was looking back to see what he was doing, I wasn't watching where I was going. So, my clumsy ass tripped over a HUGE rock that I always knew was there. I not only tripped on it, but I somehow ended up standing on top of it and then falling directly onto both my palms, but mostly my right one. I yelled out for Dustin and he came running saying 'BABY BABY BABY' hearing me in pain worried him and upset him so much that he had tears in his eyes. He rarely shows emotion. But, he picked me up and we went inside. I cried a little because it scared me. I knew it wouldn't be good. He took my jacket off to look at my arm where it hurt. And it didn't look weird or anything. He wanted to take me to the E.R. but I said I didn't want to until I knew it wasn't just bruised or something. So we went to WalMart and got a splint, put that on, and got to shopping. We got our fishing licenses, fishing stuff, and some other stuff we needed. Then we went home and the pain was so bad that I couldn't get dressed on my own or anything. Dustin had to help me with it all. He was amazing with helping me out and felt so bad for me. He hated to see me in pain. We stayed up all night that night and then Sunday morning, Lynn got a new Akita puppy. He is adorable and soft. He's only 8 weeks old and he's huge. He is the Akita that we used to have (Koda)'s son. Koda is a champion show dog and this dog is even more gorgeous than Koda. I'm sad that I can't hold him because of my arm. By the time I'm healed, he will be way too big to snuggle at the rate he's growing! Him and Harley became fast friends and we're all trying to figure out what to name him. Later on, Dustin and I went to sleep. We have a weird sleep schedule because he works nights and sometimes, I stay up so I can see him and spend time with him. I kept waking up crying because of the pain and after 5 or so hours of restless sleep, and Dustin said that we've got to get me to the E.R. So, I got up and we went to St. John Owasso. They were packed, but they did a good job of getting people in and out. It took about 4 hours, but I found out that my arm is broken near my elbow and is cracked in one spot. They say it's a very painful break, so I was happy that I wasn't just being a big baby! haha. I was worried that it was a torn ligament or tendon and that they wouldn't find anything wrong that day, and I hate unanswered questions. I am not happy, however, with the huge splint I have to wear. I understand why I have to wear it but it goes all the way up and down my arm and it makes it impossible to do things. And I hate feeling helpless! But, I'm thankful that I got help because it was really painful. My medicine just makes me sleep a lot and makes me nauseous. But it's better than being in such pain that I can't sleep. Dustin has to work all week so I'm here to take care of myself, which has been interesting to say the least. I've had to figure out different ways to do simple tasks with only my left hand, like washing my hair or making a sandwich. On Friday, I get my real cast. So we'll have to see what that entails. I'm trying to figure out what color to get (you've got to make it fun in someway)! Overall, I'm thankful for Dustin being there for me throughout this ordeal and helping me out so much, and for my health insurance because I know there are a lot of people who would be hard pressed to even go to the hospital due to that. I'm going kind of stir crazy being locked up in this house since I can't drive with the meds I'm taking or with only my left arm, but I'm definitely getting enough sleep. I'm going on and on so I will just end this post with some pictures :) Thanks for reading!

| My Man and our fish loving lab, Gunner. |
I haven't updated for awhile (I'll explain why later). But, I'm trying to remember what all has happened in my life because I want to be able to look back on my blog and know that everything I wrote was accurate, so I'm trying my best :) Anyway, things have been great in Dustin and I's relationship. It's crazy how fast 4 years goes by. Early Friday morning when he got off of work, we went fishing out back. I was really hoping for nice weather because it had been nice that day, but we quickly learned how cold and windy it was. Still, we tried to bare it and see if we could catch any fish, but we didn't get any bites. I still had fun and we enjoyed the rest of the night inside. We cuddled, talked, and watched t.v. It's definitely special to be able to do even mundane things with someone and still have a lot of fun. As cheesy as it sounds, I'm happy to be able to say that he is also my best friend.
